The AVEC P-CAN filter is intended primarily for police intervention and law enforcement units. It ensures reliable protection against the effect of tear-forming and irritating substances, as well as against organic solvents and chlorpicrin. It is therefore also suitable for interventions in drug laboratories, etc. The Compact version is smaller and lighter than the standard P-CAN filter. However, lower weight and smaller dimensions mean a shorter effective time, limited to approx. 20 min.
